ORDERS & SHIPPING
How long will my order take to arrive? We ship within New Zealand only. Orders are typically dispatched within 1-2 business days and arrive within 3-5 business days from dispatch. Rural addresses may take a little longer.
How will I know when my order has been sent? You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order leaves us.
Do you ship internationally? Not yet, we currently ship within New Zealand only. We hope to expand in the future so keep an eye on our updates.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it? We process orders quickly, so please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change. We'll do our best to help but cannot guarantee changes once an order has been dispatched.

What is the Whipped Barrier Balm? The Whipped Barrier Balm is a simple, nourishing balm designed to support the skin barrier. It's made with clean, minimal ingredients and contains no unnecessary additives, just gentle, effective barrier support for delicate and sensitive skin.
What is the difference between Restore and Pure? The Restore variant contains botanical extract tea tree essential oil and is ideal for dry, sensitive, or eczema-prone skin. The Pure variant is essential oil free, making it ideal for the most reactive skin types, newborns, and those with fragrance sensitivities.
Who is the balm suitable for? The balm is suitable for babies, children, and adults with sensitive, dry, or reactive skin. If your child has a known allergy or skin condition, we recommend checking the full ingredient list before use and consulting your healthcare provider if unsure.
How do I use the balm? Apply a small amount to clean, slightly damp skin after bathing or washing. It melts easily and a little goes a long way. For best results use consistently as part of your daily routine.
How long will one jar last? This varies depending on how much you use and how many areas you're applying it to. Most customers find a jar lasts 2-4 weeks with daily use.
Are your ingredients natural? We use simple, clean ingredients chosen for their skin barrier benefits. Full ingredient lists are available on each product page so you can make an informed decision for your family.
Is the balm tested on animals? Never. Little Barrier Co. is cruelty free, using sustainably sourced tallow from New Zealand farms.
RESULTS & USAGE
How long before I see results? Skin barrier repair takes time and varies from person to person. Most customers begin to notice a difference within 2-3 weeks of consistent daily use. We recommend giving it at least 3-4 weeks before assessing results.
Can I use the balm alongside other skincare or prescribed treatments? Yes, in most cases. However if your child is currently using prescribed topical treatments, we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider before introducing any new skincare product.
My child has eczema - is this suitable for them? The balm is formulated to support sensitive and reactive skin. However we are not medical professionals and the balm is not a medical treatment. We always recommend consulting your doctor or dermatologist for advice specific to your child's condition.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
What if I'm not happy with my order? We want you to be completely satisfied. If there is an issue with your order - damaged, incorrect, or faulty product - please contact us within 14 days of receiving it and we'll make it right.
Do you accept change of mind returns? Due to the nature of skincare products we are unable to accept change of mind returns on opened products. If your product is unopened and in its original condition, please contact us within 14 days of receipt to discuss your options.
What if I have a reaction to the product? Discontinue use immediately and seek advice from your healthcare provider if needed. Please contact us so we can note the feedback and assist you where possible. We recommend patch testing any new skincare product before full use.
